The Port Astra Midrial Exhibition
In 805, a collection of empires and civilizations from all over Midrial came together in a sort of "world's fair". Each participating nation brought their best and most impressive creations, their culture, and hoped to make their mark at what was one of the only times the nations of the world came together as one.
The city created a number of buildings and monuments in preparation for the grand festival. The nations of Costrana all participated. A museum displaying artifacts from The Blightslayers and the Aket was created and still exists in Port Astra today.
Participating Nations:
Rhorellian Empire: Keavalur Rhorellian was determined to make a strong showing at the exhibition. As the emperor responsible for 80% of Rhorellia's expansion, Keavalur did just that. Rhorellia designed and constructed the famed statues that now rise tall over Port Astra even to this day. Uslos Uslos's presence was limited at the exhibition, but their architects constructed a small monument in Port Astra as their contribution. After Valtanan rulers found out about the attrocities committed in Uslos, they tore the structure down. Oldvale Oldvale's Tricrown participated in great capacity. The blend of cultures made for a colorful display in the museum and the various events. An embassy was constructed to represent Oldvale for future democratic purposes. The colors of the Tricrown still hang in the embassy, but Oldvalian ambassadors have long abandoned any efforts in Costrana. Klestan The Lasian Dynasty The Lasian Dynasty's demonstration was limited to a small fleet that, unfortunately, did not safely return to Atolvance after the exhibition. In fact, no ships safely returned to Atolvance. Most settled in Ravenvayne or Merriby Main. Misc: A handful of small, independent organizations participated in the event. The Amethyst Accord sent some of their best craftsman. The Ki Shaar lent some of their most acrobatic swordsman and Liaris sent some of their most opulent and impressive artifacts.
