The Khamar Copper Plates

Some of the inspiration and details are derived from Colombia Games and Hârn Religion Team (HRT) Archive.

These Octagonal Copper Plates approximately 4 feet long and 1/2 an inch wide were used by the now extinct heretical Agrikian Clerical Order of Khamar to assist in the manufacture and consecration of holy weapons. They are considered magical in nature and contain many secrets.

Etched onto the plates are prayers and rituals written in Surikal using the Lakise Script.

Four plates, long thought lost, were recovered from the ruins of a long abandoned hidden temple under the streets of the City of Coranan by the Crimson Dancer Knight Athena Pallas. These are now in possession of the Order of Kukshin and under guard at the Bastion of the Dancing Flame.

Purpose

Containing ritual Invocations and Prayers to be performed by a priest working with skilled weapon-crafters when forging or working on weapons. These prayers either aid the crafting process and sometimes add magical properties.

Historical Details

History

Believed made over 250 years ago as partial copies of the Legendary Etched Copper Plates, crafted by the Azeryani missionary, Marasalir, and stored and at the Temple at Kustan in the Peran Wilderness. The Originals were lost or destroyed when the temple was sacked by Kubora Barbarians in 477TR.

Legacy

It is believed more advanced and modern versions of these plates are currently being used by the Order of Mamaka, Master of Steel in the temple in the City of Golotha and at the great air forge at Bendes Castle in the Kingdom of Rethem.

Any Agrikian Clerical or Fighting Order, especially the Order of Mamaka, would go to great lengths to gain possession of these artifacts.
