Marcova Galpsi
Marcova was the daughter of a farmer and equestrian. While she loved taking care of the horses on her father’s farm her true passion was crafting tools and spending a large portion of her evenings with the local blacksmith learning under him techniques, weaponry, and other skills. It was during that time that she had met and fallen in love with the blacksmith’s son, a young human man named Ari. The two married young and lived happily for a few years. Until the tragic day when Ari died in an accident trying to deliver some tools for trade in another town.
Needing a fresh start Marcova set out to find a new calling. This landed her in Mythrite, where she decided to take what she learned from Aric and his father and set up a weapons shop for those who pass through. The shop is her passion and she enjoys working there every day. Once or twice Marcova will unintentionally trail on and on about facts each product she has. Even for her common customers who have definitely heard her speech. But she is always greeting those around her with a large smile and bright conversation. While her focus is on selling then crafting, every once in a while she will take small commissions for tool or weapon repair. Especially for Miners who she will sometimes give discounts too. Since many live in The Halberd like her, she’ll often hear complaints, frustrations, or other remarks from miners. Marcova figures even if it’s a small amount of help, a little could go a long way to help make things easier for them.
At first, she considered living in Mythrite a temporary situation but found that the sense of community and belonging and she started to find it more and more like home. For those who live with her, they will find that more often then not she is cooking large meals for everyone in the communal kitchen. They find her humming and singing softly to herself constantly as she cooks.
