Murdered Mountains
The arid northern regions covered in eroded moutains, canyons and desert, To the west is the Onyx river and the Burn Lands. To the east is thr Invero RIver and Summers End . To the north is the Burnrise Sea. It has been ruled by House Ili family out of the capital city of Ilian
Geography
The murdered mountains are the most arid regions of Morteron. It is alos the oldest mountain range , However during the Titancaso the titan atmepted to destroy this region. The resulting destruction crumbled this moutains into dust and sand which settled to form the desserts of the region. The largest area of dessert lies in the east and is known as the dune lands. The surviving mountains were eroded to fraction of their orginal size. The destruction also resulted in the formation in various canyons which are more common in the eastern regions.
This change of elavation cobimge with the northern heat cuases most water to pass over the region leading to an arid climate. However there is an ancient network of underground aquifers that allowed for many underground and creative culutres to flourish.
Ecosystem Cycles
As one of the northern most regions the murdered moutains are hot all year round. However the summer months are hotter and drier. Also windstorms are more frecuent in the summer months.The winter months have a few sprinkling of rain in certain regions.

Natural Resources
Due to the climate. the regions does have a lack of abundance of natural resources, However as an older moutain range and focus on underground living as revealed that the regions as the greatest reserves of gems stones and certain precious metals such as gold. Also the unique sands of the regions and be used for various building materials and clay.
History
Limited resources fostered cultures that formed around close knit groups with treasured traditions and rules that kept them alive. This is also a region with livable areas that are fewer and localized in certain area. Thus many of the cultures in the area grew to be proudly independent for their neighbors. THeir abudance of luxury materials also lead the peoples of this region to become excellent craftsman and builders. It is a region that greatly values the arts.
