Savage Forest

The rainforest of Morteron. To the west are the Spring Lakes. To the east is the Folskbane sea. To the north is the Summers End and the Murdered Mountains and To the south is the Holy Forest. It has been ruled by House Atuntec family out of the capital city of Templegrave

Geography

The largest forest of Morteron Located on the eatern coast of main land, The savage forest is bordered by bodies of waters and is a meeting place for the northern warm winds and colder southern winds. Thus this area recieves vast amounts of rain. This rain with the additional nturients scattered from the northerned desserts created a fertile region that has fosterrd the growth of great trees and the plethera of wildlife to go with it.   This diversity of wildlife has create a fierce competion for survival. The residents of the savage forest have all had to evole and adapt in ways that to make their home dangerous to outsiders. It is an area with unique animals, Mobile vegatations, powerful predators and cunning prey. A semse of savagery is require to thrive here.

Ecosystem Cycles

The Savage forest is far enough that majority of the regions remains warm throughout the year. With the exception that the southern regions that have temperate rainforest that meet with the smaller rees for the holy forest. This that which woulld summer season usually has higher amongs of rain and result an a higher humity will the winter month expieremce a drier period with minor drop in temperature. Snow only occasionally seems to touch the southern border regions.

As the reion with the most biodiverse wildflife the region has an abundance of animal and plant derived products, It realy comes down to how dangerous it is to acucuire them. Als with there great trees The savage forest has a large export on lumber and carpentry techniques.

History

The fierce competion for survival does not just apply to the wildlife. It has also shaped many human cultures to adapt to a survival of the fittest mentailty. Many of the cultures that grew here revel in the freedom to create and break all rules if it means survival. However however this sense of "freedom" is commonly interpeted as savergry by outsider cultures. In this region the weak are expected to fall in line or disappear into obsucurity.
