White Hills
The rolling hills region on the central west area of Morteron. To the west is the Godset Sea. To the east is the Inverno River. To the north are the Spring lakes. To the south is the Blackland mountains. t has been ruled by the ruled by the House Arias family out of the capital city of Whitehill.
Geography
These rolling hills startout steep in the south at the base o the blackland mountains. and pressively level out as the you move north and east. . These hills are covered mostly native short green grasses bolders with a couple small streams flowing between the hills. The region has little actual rain but recieves most of its water through heavy morning mist and traveling fog clouds. In fact these mist and fogs are responsible for the lands names stake as they can make the hills appear to be tinted white. Ita enough water for arable land, but not enough to support forest such as the ones to the east.As a central region, the Whitelands expierencing all seasons to an equal degree. However tit is consistently windy in the area as there are no natural strucres to break up the wind flow.
Ecosystem Cycles
The White Hills expierience all the season at about equal timing. Winters feature strong cold wintes and almost constant frost with ocansional snow dusting. Spring features the thaw of the frostand has the thickest morning mist. Summer features warm winds and the period of growth of the plants. Most rain happens in this season. Fall feature the return og chilled winds and has the most rolling fog clouds.

The WHite hill have alot of open arable land, but do not have many unique natural resources
History
The easily accessible lands combined with a simple survivability has made the white hills open to various peoples and groups. However, its lack of natural defenses requires the white hill peoples to create their own systems for defense. This led to clusters of groups that were held together by strict moral codes. This would lead the White hills to be a hot bed for developing deep religions with dedicated followers not seen in most other regions. The lack of natural defense also made the white hills people to become militant to a degree they are one of the few armies that can stand up to the blacklin armies. During the Sailous kingdom and empires many of the various groups were subjugated under a common leader. Then during the Conquest of Emma Arias these groups were brought together under an alliance known as the Whitelands.
