Shornhelm
The city of Shornhelm was one of the largest cities in the region of Geldrin. During the Kingdom of Thedas it was known as the 'Eye of the Prince,' because of the many royal princes that grew up there. When the Girger cursed Thedas in 1193 and Geldrin was subsequently invaded by the Kingdom of Angmar, the people of Shornhelm became refugees. As refugees they were led by the noble Lanzetti family, once proud Archons of the city, and became known as the Blue Band of the Bands of Brothers because of their blue banners.
In 1353 the Blue Band saw its chance and retook the city of Shornhelm from the Angmarians. They resettled their ancestral lands and grew proud once more. The city, though a shadow of its former glory started to once again attract traders and craftsmen and grew into one of the most important among the Bands. The Blue Band joined in the assault on Angmar(settlement:5996b754-79f2-4b52-841a-7a38fab7ed37), which was instigated by @[Marcus Vardenfell of The Night's Watch. They too signed the alliance with the Western realm.
The tide of Shornhelm changed however with the Nordmarian invastion by Azhidal. Once more the Blue Band was forced from their homeland. Under the Kingdom of Tulbuk the city became but a backwater. As large parts of the city went up in flames during the siege, the Normarian Orcs attached little importance to the city, instead favoring Ozan as the provincial capital.
