Viscounty of Luthetia

The Viscounty of Luthetia was founded in a time of need for Luthetia; The Grand Duchy was disbanded by Appius Angelos, the council of Professors and the remaining Angelosi brutally murdered by Boris Redcliff and its capital Luthetia in disarray after being freed from the Montera invaders by the Night's Watch and the Luthetian navy led by Morgain Davros. No party could lay a stable claim on the Grand Duchy and thus a compromise was struck: Luthetia would become an independent city-state/vassal state, surrendering part of its harbor to the Windhelm Trading Company.

Important people for the Viscounty

At the head of the Viscounty of Luthetia stands its Viscount, although many of its inhabitants feel he is a mere puppet to other influential parties:

• The Night's Watch holds a major part of Luthetia's harbor district and stations a significant force within the city. Due to Luthetia's favourable position for overseas trading, the Windhelm Trading Company has major quarters within Luthetia.
• Admiral Morgain Davros still has direct control over Luthetia's naval forces in a separate walled part of the harbor district.
• The Nobles of the Viscounty lie at its heart still keeping the Myrtanian spirit alive. The Nobles are rarily found united however.
• The Order of the Flame has major interest in the city of Luthetia and has sent both Paladins and Fire Magicians to preach within the city's harbor district. The Order is represented by Ser Andreas in Luthetia.
