From above, the mountains north of Gylidd Syn Aethri are split into what appears to be a mouth and tongue. This section - which was created by the Ripple in 25,000 BAI - has sharp and tall mountains that give the appearance of a jagged set of teeth. The valleys between them often extend below the snow line, allowing easy passage from the Brumewood and the The Gwassten or Effluvian Jungle.
Ymeradwyr - the tallest mountain in all of Gylidd and home of the goliaths and giant-folk of Dantawyr - lies at the Bite's southern end.
