Sornan (Soor-Nan)

Similar to Sirens that are the result of female Merfolk contracting the Twisting the sornan are the result of male merfolk contracting it. They are mindless brutal beasts who have lost even more of themselves then their female counterparts . They remember nothing of their old lives, no longer understand langauge in anyform, and truly live only to Kill. The sornan are so single-minded in their senseless killing that they rarely hunt for themselves as their unrivaled strength and hypnotic saliva allows them to easily brutalize and subjugate any siren they bite into joining their pack and bringing them food. The Sornan's need to murder is so all-consuming that a sornan without a subjugated siren pack to feed it will often starve to death as it refueses to eat anything it has killed.

Courting

Do not villainize me Venreia. I am a demon not a monster. The humans I torment are not innocent souls but the Sirens, Their little more than animals, there is nothing they could do to deserve what those creatures to them. What the Sornan do their mates is a mockery of nature and it disgusts me to my core, just as it does you.
- Lubick, The Sin of Lust, arguning with the Goddess of Love, Veneria
Unlike most animals soran and Sirens have no courting or mating rituals to speak of and instead reproduce whenever the Sornan of a pack desires, as the brutish creatures simply overpower their mates or paralize them using the mesmerizing control that their bite has on sirens. Sirens rarely such mating sessions often It is a disgusting warping of the natural order that even Lubick, The Defiler, considers it unforgivable.
