Life, Failure / Mishap
hidden in the chaos of The First Titan War and The Awakening of the Reaper The Archfae, Mathoraz decided to set his greatest scheme in motion as he, along with many of his siblings and children Nymphs, cast an enchantment on the world. The casting of this enchantment required singular most powerful ritual that has ever been recorded, but even creatures as powerful as the Archfae could not control the magic they summoned and their spell quickly went wild. Mathoraz's goal had been to create an invisible, but conceivably breakable, wall of magic between the realm of Elsyina and Requiem in the hopes that he could engage in futher schemes without interference for at least little while. Instead Mathoraz bound of the souls of all immortals to their respective planes, making it near impossible for not only the Gods, but also the Demons of Hell and the Archfae of the Evergreen Realm to ever leave their natural planes and forever stripping them of much of their power whenever they do. Although Mathoraz lost control of his spell and its effects within hours it took seven years for The Gray to fully form and the world exprienced a rapid change during that time as all immortals panicked at the thought of never being able to influence the Mortal Realm again.
