Created by the Dragon Tyrant during their reign as expendable & disposable slaves, as opposed to the considerably longer-living Elves & Dwarves. Humans reach adulthood quickly, breed quickly, and, lacking the divine gifts bestowed upon the Elder Races, must make up in tenacity what they lack in special abilities.
Following the downfall of the Dragon Tyrant, their numbers began to explode as they traveled to every part of the plane. They remain the highest population on the plane, albeit due to smaller populations in every region adding up. The largest population of Humans live in Respite, although somewhat reluctantly. Despite the best efforts of the Rose Clans, there remain a lot of things in the woods looking for easy prey.
