Evelia
The Brightflame
Cevena is the goddess of the Light domain, and is one of the gods of The Third Era, along with Rataxa, Cevena, and Ok’Magar.
In particular, Evelia's domain relates to the sun and fire, and encompasses both the life-giving and destructive aspects of each. Notions of purity are suffused through most worship of Evelia, though scholars debate both the meaning and extent of this notion as considered by the goddess herself.
Evelia is associated with Humans. In particular, the Kasainan Kingdom holds deep spiritual bonds towards Evelia.
Because of this connection, Evelia is traditionally depicted as having features most similar to the Kasainan people, bearing pale skin and dark, straight hair. She is often depicted in gleaming plate mail.
Evelia is known to be a judgemental deity, quick to offer mercy to those of good disposition and quick to condemn those of an evil disposition. Some myths present her as being easily distracted, as well.
