Session 5: Freeing Sir Talavar Report

General Summary

February 3, 2022

The group is attacked by constrictor snakes! Skipper and Savrial get the HDYWTDT on two of them, Skipper goes unconscious but is healed in time by Fennigan Dapplefoot . The rest of the snakes disengage back into the brambles and we decide to press onward.
We find a boat and Snailopotomus Harington the Third pulls it along in the water as we take a short rest. We come across one of the green pipes and discover it’s a well, actually, and is surrounded by four spirits that can’t leave it. The spirits tell us more information about Bavlorna Blightstraw and how she caused the swamp to grow and likes to trap people.
We meet Tony the Tiger-Shark who tells us more about where to find the brigands and what the tollway looks like. Then we arrive at Telemy Hill! A trio of trees named Larry, Moe, and Curly greet us, asking us to sign the guest book before taking us to go see Jingle Jangle. They all recognize Savrial as the Witchlight Monarch and tell us he will be treated like royalty here. Larry also lost his other guest book and we told him we would help him look for it.
Jingle Jangle greets us in their home at the top of the mountain, telling us they were attacked by brigands that stole her truffles, and we promised to get them back for her. She gives us the key to Sir Talavar's cage and we learn that Bavlorna cursed her, which is why she covets keys above all else.
We free Sir Talavar and decide that our group name is The Misfits. He makes us honorary emissaries of the Summer Court, giving Savrial a dagger to symbolize this honor. He imparts some knowledge about the Hourglass Coven sisters and after some more discussion the group heads back down the mountain to head north towards the tollway. Before we can get too far, a walking inn begins to approach us in the distance.
