Armor Durability

Gear in NEXUS has a Durability stat which is vital to maintain. Using gear will naturally wear down its Durability, but can easily be fixed by performing Gear Repair at a Foundry. Durability degradation and repair costs can be modified with certain skills, upgrades, items, and more. The amount of Durability loss will determine the repair cost, with increased costs for heavy damage.
Some skills, items, and other effects will cause Durability loss (or gain) for different gear, so it is important to manage while in the field. Enough Durability loss can necessitate early Extraction. The following affects all gear durability:

• Dying affects Durability by reducing all equipped gear by 25%. If a piece of gear was below 25% before the player dies, it is reduced to 0%.
• Failure to Extract has the same Durability effects as Death: 25% Durability loss to all currently equipped gear.
