Weapon Durability
Weapon damage severely limits a player's ability to be effective in Combat and puts them at risk. Weapons with a high rate of fire are susceptible to additional Durability loss. Some skills and Abilities cause additional weapon damage as indicated on an individual basis. Lower quality and Rarity weapons are more likely to take additional damage as well. Repairs can be made with items or other means. Once weapons reach certain Durability thresholds, negative status effects are applied to them until they are repaired. These statuses affect damage output.
- Worn - at 75% durability, weapons deal 10% reduced damage.
- Damaged - at 50% durability, weapons deal 25% reduced damage.
- Heavily Damaged - at 25% durability,weapons deal 50% reduced damage.
- Disabled - at 0% durability, weapons can be equipped but cannot attack.
- Individual kills with a weapon wear by a very small percentage. Each kill counted will reduce the weapon’s durability by 0.1%
- Blocking with a melee weapon will incur a 0.1% durability loss per hit.
- Every round expended cumulatively adds to Durability loss. Each Weapon Type varies as do individual weapons.
