Risanare Isle

Once known as The Gallows Isle, Risanare Isle was one of the major Second Age conquests of Tharrisia, taken during the prelude period of The Tharrisian War and the Year of the Dragon known as The Conquest of the Gallows Isle.
The Gallows Isle was once the primary port of call and safe haven for pirates. Since it's conquest it has become a Province of Tharrisia and has become equal parts a naval port and a farming island. While the pirates never took full advantage of it, the island has rich farm land for farming, especially crops such as wheat and fruit trees.
In the common day, Risanare Isle is mostly a quiet place with naval docks for the Tharrisian Navy, and miles of farm land. While the rich and powerful of Tharrisia used to make extra summer homes on the isle, and grew vast farming estates, many have since moved onto Olbern, and now the isle is a quiet one of middle-class workers.
