Werewolves
Basic Information
Anatomy
Werewolves have two forms the first is their human form which are bipedal and have four limbs, two legs and two arms, five digits on each hand and feet and have hairless bodies. They have hair on their heads and males are able to grow facial hair.
The second form, their wolf form, is also bipedal with four limbs, two legs and two arms, five digits on each hand and feet but they have hair covering their entire body, claws on their hands and feet, a wolf tail and a wolf head. They are also much larger in their wolf form.
Werewolves who have much experience are able to transform at will, however, when the light of the full moon shines on them it forces them to transform.
Biological Traits
Werewolves are quite distinct from the majority of other races with their distinctly canine appearance in there wolf form.
Compared to others, Werewolves are also typically much more bulky with a high amount of muscle mass and typically are not lithe.
Werewolves also have very little sexual dimorphism; although male werewolves do typically have more muscle and may be taller than females, they have few outward sexual markers.
Genetics and Reproduction
Werewolves reproduce sexually and are viviparous, they typically have a gestation period of 9 months because of their near kinship with humans.
Werewolves can create new Werewolf by biting a human or any over race who is NOT immune against lycanthropy, if the victim doesn't get treated before the next full moon, they will become a Werewolf.
Werewolves can breed with humans and other Werewolves, though they cannot breed with other types of lycanthropes. A Werewolf is not particularly fertile; they have a fraction of the "normal" chance of producing an offspring. This chance is even lower if the Werewolf is mating with a human.
Growth Rate & Stages
As the full moon reaches its apex, their bones will begin to snap and restructure themselves. The fingers will involuntarily snap out of place and shift, becoming much longer and tipped with claws. Their legs, as well, will lengthen and snap to form the hind legs of their animal form. Teeth will fall out and snap into place to make way for a set of fangs and their faces will experience horrific pain as it peels and sheds, turning into a canine maw.
This first transformation will take close to six hours, though this time is greatly shortened for subsequent transformations. Some Afflicted can make the change in minutes.
Inexperienced Werewolves will then act of the beast's own accord until sunrise, when the animal will contort back into human form. While more experienced Werewolves are able to keep their human consciousness. The human has no memory of their actions during this state.
Werewolves a are a long-lived race and reach physical maturity at a similar age like Humans. A Werewolf is traditionally considered an adult once he or she reached age 21. Werewolves age much like Humans but over a longer period of time, remaining vigorous well past 150 years.
Most Werewolves lived to see their bicentennial, and a few live to be over 400.
Ecology and Habitats
Werewolves can be found in almost any environment that supports Humans, although they seem to prefer areas near forests or marshland, possibly due to their abundance of food and area to roam when transformed.
Werewovles run a little hot, so they are better able to weather the elements than a human.
Werewolves are able to live anywhere in the world due to their abilities and biology. Werewolves are generally found in temperate, sub-artic, tundra or sub-tropical climates.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Werewolves in their human form are omnivores that procure their food by hunting and gathering for it.
Werewolves in their wolf form are carnivores and obtain their food by hunting, their prey can include other races.
Biological Cycle
As time progresses Werewolves age, eventually their bodies will reach a point where they can no longer sustain themselves and will eventually die.
However, they live much longer lives than some other races such as Humans.
Behaviour
Werewolves are a very cooperative species and will form communities to help each other, they are wary of other races but can ally with other races if they have earned their trust.
Werewolves resolve disputes generally without using violence, but they will turn into their wolf forms to solve issues through fights.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Werewolves are wary towards other races, but their trust can be earned by them.
Most other races view Werewolves as savage beasts that need to be hunted, though there are some others who view them as powerful allies.
Human: Humans and Werewolves tend to treat each other with caution, so much so that Werewolves tends to hide their features when trading to avoid issues.
Vampires: The relationship between Werewolves and Vampires is mostly a neutral if not negative one. Like many legends say, Werewolves and vampires have been feuding for generations, many unable to trace back how far. The main reason for this hatred is due to a Werewolf bite being able to sicken a Vampire. Along with this, and perhaps being the main reason, the two are known to habit the same territory. Werewolves usually seek out human areas to establish themselves but are known to not feed on humans regularly, so they can blend in and keep low but respectable profiles. Vampires, on the other hand, feed on the native population regularly, and if done too much, bring in hunters that run both groups out.
Other Were Creatures: History states that Werewolves and others were creatures that didn't always get along. There is evidence where wars have been fought due to close proximity and superiority. Though there is still tension between some groups, most have forgotten the past and are allies. It's not rare to see a group of different weres living in the same area, even sometimes being in the same pack.
Shifter Kinds: Similar to the relationship between Werewolves and Humans, Werewolves, and Shifters typically have no quarrel with one another.
