Lycanwings
Basic Information
Anatomy
Lycanwings have two forms the first is their human form which are bipedal and have four limbs, two legs and two arms, five digits on each hand and feet and have hairless bodies. They have hair on their heads and males are able to grow facial hair.
The second form, their dragon form, is also bipedal with four limbs, two legs and two arms, five digits on each hand and feet but they have scales covering their entire body, fur covering parts of their body, at least one pair of wings, claws on their hands and feet, a dragon tail and a dragon head. They are also much larger in their dragon form.
Lycanwings who have much experience are able to transform at will. However, when the light of the full moon shines on them it forces them to transform.
Genetics and Reproduction
Lycanwingss reproduce sexually and are viviparous, they typically have a gestation period of 9 months.
Lycanwings can create new Lycanwing by biting a human or any over race who is NOT immune against lycanthropy, if the victim doesn't get treated before the next full moon, they will become a Lycanwing.
Growth Rate & Stages
Lycanwings from infancy take 4 years to reach childhood and from there it takes 14 years to reach adulthood, at the age of 18 a Lycanwing is considered a young adult. A Lycanwing who reaches the age of 30 is considered an adult and at the age of 60 they are considered to be elderly.
Ecology and Habitats
Lycanwings can be found in almost any environment that supports Humans, although they seem to prefer areas near forests or marshland, possibly due to their abundance of food and area to roam when transformed.
Lycanwings are able to live anywhere in the world due to their abilities and biology. Lycanwings are generally found in temperate, sub-artic, tundra or sub-tropical climates.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Lycanwings in their human form are omnivores that procure their food by hunting and gathering for it.
Lycanwings in their wolf form are carnivores and obtain their food by hunting, their prey can include other races.
Biological Cycle
As time progresses Lycanwings age, eventually their bodies will reach a point where they can no longer sustain themselves and will eventually die.
However, they live much longer lives than some other races such as Humans.
Behaviour
Lycanwings are a very cooperative species and will form communities to help each other, they are wary of other races but can ally with other races if they have earned their trust.
Lycanwings resolve disputes generally without using violence, but they will turn into their dragon forms to solve issues through fights.

Social Structure
Most Lycanwings live solitary lives, these Werewolves are known as lone dragons.
A few Lycanwingss even live among other races as Humans or their born race in civilizations where they live a "normal" life and keep there beast side a secret.
Average Intelligence
Lycanwings in their human form have the avarage intelligence of a human but can also be smarter because they are a diffrent race from Humans or are just highly gifted with intelligence.
Lycanwings in their dragon form, are less intelligent and are mainly driven by their instincts, especially during a full moon. However, more experienced Lycanwings are able to control these base instincts but this becomes quite harder during a full moon.

Lycanwings mostly use sight to observe the world around them but can use other senses such as hearing to do so as well.

Lycanwings tend to wear clothing woven from the fur and scales they shed when they transform from dragon to human.

The average female Lycanwing height in human form is 1.5‒1.9 m and the average male Lycanwing height in human form is 1.7‒2 m.
The average female Lycanwing height in dragon form is 2.1m and the average male Lycanwing height in dragon form is 2.2m.

Lycanwing skin colour ranges from pale to dark brown. Lycanwing hair colour ranges from red, blond, brown, white, grey and black.
A Lycanwing fur and scale colour in dragon form is always black to dark shades of gray.
