Saschira Kolvahar was born the youngest daughter to then reigning Sultan of Barad Habschi Kolvahar. Her mother Saphira Kolvahar died during birth.
Her father doted his daughter. He ensured that she could have a happy and sheltered childhood and kept her out of the political intrigue of the country. This also kept her distant from her elder sister Ariadna Kolvahar to whom she never developed a relationship. Her maid Aisha Mirna was assigned to her at birth and grew up along side her, making her something like an elder sister to Saschira.
The young sultana grew up to be a intelligent, witty and curious young woman. Though the sheltered nature of her upbringing made her naive now and then. While she enjoyed her forbidden excursions into the city of Barad, she had very little sense of the consequences her actions caused for other people. Coming of age she developed a growing understanding of the large inequality present in her country. She partitioned her father regularly on matters of justice and slavery. Further was she know to personally intervene in multiple court cases and pardon culprits if she perceived the laws to be unjust. All this made her widely appreciated by the population at large - especially the lower classes and the slaves. Though she never quite managed to leave behind the notion of a rich sheltered girl that involves herself in the selected cases purely out of vanity.
During the Battle of Barad she escape the assassination attempt during the wedding of her sister Ariadna Kolvahar only thanks to the interference of members of the 2nd Legion of the Bulls with whom she was already acquainted from previous adventures in the city. She found her self trust into a position of leadership - and against all odds managed to rise to the occasion and lead the resistance in Barad. She enlisted the help of the 2nd Legion of the Bulls and made some compromises that ultimately put an end to the revolt of the The Twins and restored order in the city. During the final confrontation in the palace of Barad she was forced to personally end the life of her own sister - who by that point was fully under the magical control of Necromancer.
With her entire family dead she was forced to take on the position of Sultana and assumed at a historical young age the control over Gharlarad.
Her young reign was dominated by a serious of well thought out - yet also very uneasy - compromises in an attempt to restore the unity of her country. The future has to tell if she will manage to kit the divide in her country.
