Semattz Honorarium Theatre
Overview
The Semattz Honorarium Theatre is a massive opera house and theatrical complex in the Lamplight District. It was formerly the called the Orpheon Skystage, one of Novus's first and oldest opera houses. The theatre was utterly destroyed in the fall but as a craving and desire for the arts returned to Novus, Reisor Semattz began to gather several likeminded individuals to perform plays in the ruins, working in what free time they had to also restore the theatre. As Semattz's popularity grew, proper funding was gained to rebuild the theatre. The project was not completed until after Semattz's death. Venus Cousard ensured the project was finished and led the motion to rename the theatre to the Semattz Honorarium Theatre.
Today it is a focal point for the arts in the Lamplight district, a cultural nexus, where class does not exist and the theatrical arts can be explored. It's main stage is the home for many of Novus's finest theatrical works.
