Silver Ring
Overview
The Silver Ring is the uppermost, widely inhabited ring of Novus. It houses Novus's most elite members, including aristocracy, officials, and functionaries of the city. The architecture of this section of the city has been carefully maintained and is among the oldest and most historical in all of Novus.
Districts
Gleam District
The Gleam District houses the most beautiful and prideful public spaces on Novus, including the Artusennian Academy and the grand temples to Bregoure, Kiyoh, and Demisoth.
Appraiser's District
The Appraiser's District is the residential district of the Silver Ring, holding the family estates of Novus's aristocracy. The residences of the Ring Bearers and Novus's functionaries are here as well.
Cloud Swept District
The Cloud Swept District once held ambassadorial estates to other cities. When it was reconstructed after the fall, the decision was made to turn this area into a memorial for all the dead from the cataclysm. It is home to a number of museums, temples, and cemetaries, as well as well cultivated gardens and nature preserves. It is often used now as a place for recreation for the residents of the Silver Ring. A large artificial lake -- Lake Clearhold -- sits in the center of the district and runs into the small stream that runs through the Silver Ring.
