The Order of Dakath

The Order of Dakath was an order made up of chromatic dragons devoted to the god Dakath, created primarily to combat the rise of The Circle of the Heavens, an order of metallic dragons devoted to Dakath's rival and twin brother Deyallor that was trying to unite the humans into a single empire under its rule.
The Circle of the Heavens had created the Aurean Empire. The Order, believing they were better suited to unite the humans created its own empire, known as Zarthax, largely in more violent and forceful way then the Circle of the Heavens had. Both empires grew and eventually came into conflict, culminating in the battle of Terminus in 162 AY which ended in a crushing defeat for Zarthax. Zarthax largely collapsed in the aftermath, and though a remnant survived in the north for some time it was abandoned by the dragons, who scattered once their empire fell apart.
