Evelyn Mary Tate
Evelyn Tate was the wife of Henry Tate.
She and Henry had tried for several years to have a child of their own, but where enabled. They had just begun the process of registering as potential adoptive parents when Malia Tate was born. As Talia Hale knew they were considering adopting, she approached them to ask if they would consider taking in her niece.
She did not tell them the identities of Malia's biological parents.
As often happens, Evelyn found she was pregnant less than a year after the adoption, and in 1997, she gave birth to their second child, Kylie Tate.
Evelyn was killed in a car crash when Corinne Nichols attempted to kill Malia, causing her to undergo her first full-shift in the back of their car, causing a crash.
