Yakan Infection

Yakan of Tenko rank or above, who have given up their physical bodies. can learn to take control of other, less powerful, beings.

In order to infect an individual, part of the Yakan's essence must physically enter their body, either through lesions in the skin, or by being ingested.

In 2011, The Nogitsune used this ability to take control of many residents of Beacon Hills, including Melissa McCall, Noah Stilinski, and Alan Deaton.
