Zadok te-Arawn
Zadok te-Arawn (born 18 November Y627) is a high priest of Arawn, and Primo at Sladkóro-in-Arawn in Scalados. He was a candidate for Valòmar in the Valòmar Election of Y1111, but lost to current Valòmar Lona te-Morigana.
History
Zadok te-Arawn was born to a wealthy family in Ramdailos. He studied at Sladkóro-te-Arawn, where he excelled in theology and philosophy far more than in healing. He remained at the temple until Y838, when he moved to Longobardi as an assistant to the religious advisors of King Bertriardo. In the Y871 coup by General Grimoaldo I, Zadok sided with him and became his primary religious advisor once Bertriardo was ousted. When Bertriardo returned to power in Y876, Zadok quickly fled the Aquatic Kingdoms. He served as the primary religious advisor to Eldatar Supedo I from Y876 to Y960. In early Y960, he accepted the position as Primo at Sladkóro-te-Arawn, where he serves to this day.Controversy
Zadok-te-Arawn has faced numerous accusations of corruption. His family still retains their wealth despite his personal vows of poverty, and have allegedly made "donations" to certain temples in exchange for their public support of Zadok. Others cite his willingness to overthrow his mentors in Longobardi and his support of Grimoaldo as potential marks of ill character.
