Ametrian Church
An extremely powerful organization, the Ametrian Church even has the richest and most influential nobles and rulers under its heel. It has survived and evolved along with humans since the dawn of history.
Structure
The church is run by a group of 6 Arch Bishops that gather three times a year in Liggen to discuss doctrine and events and what the church will spend its vast wealth on. 4 out of 6 members of this council must agree on any motion passed to put a decree to the world.
Below the Arch Bishops are a multitude of Bishops that oversee their Bishoprics all over Serrus. They are the link to the Arch Bishops and only they can bring a matter directly to their council.
At the bottom of the hierarchy are countless individual priests. Their roles vary greatly depending on the culture, country, city, town, or village they oversee.
