Lith
The original gold dragon, Lith is king of the Golden Kingdom, and the source of both its name, and of its rumors of golden treasure. While he does maintain a modest hoard beneath his palace, he considers the real golden treasure of the island to be himself. Like many dragons, he can be prone to vanity, but is generally a reasonable and fair ruler to his people. He protects the lands he has claimed, and keeps their inhabitants safe from both marauding wildlife and foolish treasure-hunters.
