Lindie: “Still alive. Yes. [long pause] Best wishes, Lindie.” Connie uses a Sending spell to message and track down Lindie.

Connie: “We were worried! Where were you? Are you alright? Hugo’s mother’s mad! I was a wolf last night!
Lindie: I was not worried. I was behind a mirror, then in the air, then in the screaming desert. Yes. Hugo’s mother is always mad. I know.
Voltaire seems slightly more coiled to jump into action and slightly prouder in posture than normal.
Peerage mentions Millbank Watchguard, Nightkeeper Guard Captain, is dead.

Round 7 – What was discussed by Guinevera et al at Ironside residence?

Guinevera argued with Ironsides first. They were like we can’t let you see any of them because there’s an active investigation going down. Underhands are already here.
She demanded to speak to Underhands. Agamemnon was sent to get Crepuscule. They established what had gone down as far as the Ironsides knew. The official story from Crepuscule that she had heard that her family were being impersonated and arrived at once to investigate.
Guinevera requests a private word with Crepuscule, which Crepuscule agrees to and the Ironsides are not willing to intervene. Once they are away from the others, Crepuscule opens her book and casts something that puts a void in Ears of the City.
After that, Crepuscule and Guinevera are now on the same page. Crepuscle informs Ironsides that it is their opinion for investigation for all of the suspects to be released. Underhands actively took the Doppelgänger into custody. Others were to be released.

Katharine Ironside not present, but the word has gotten around and there is a lot of buzz around the Ironsides. Balthazar shouting – one part “Who asked you?!” other part “Sure, someone got lucky once but I’d like to see them try again!”
Balthazar, Agamemnon and Menelaus Ironside are all there.
All of the Underhands have turned up. But Sonata, Glaive and Nycteme are mirrors – (Connie Nat 20 perception)
There is an imposing spiked palanquin in murky dark gold and metallic greys that is being held by four creatures that look like muscular genies, but each has been mummified in chain. Glowing white eyes.
Palanquin is surrounded by a group of eight identical heavy plated warriors. Each of which has a lotus symbol on the neckplate of this getup. Wings. (Amira's Teeth)
Now that the majority of viziers have rallied behind the proposal to dispatch the Amira's Heel to clear out the Mongrelfolk rebellion, she is due to be leaving from the court today, and this is her retinue of eight of the amira’s teeth that have been placed under the heel’s commanded for the duration of her current mission.

Connie: “Hi Beozar. Nobles deploying Amira’s Heel and Teeth into Undercity to crush Empire. Hope advanced notice helps and that we’re still friends. Best wishes, Connie.”
Beozar: “Shit. Thank you. It’s happening. Fuck.” Connie uses a Sending spell from the Academic District to pre-warn Beozar about the deployment of the Amira's Heel and Teeth.

Gunivera and Richard and Victor seem to be taking advantage of the general most people being distracted by Amira’s Heel and Ironsides.

Rumours

• The Ironsides recovered Katharine with some kind of Dargent help.
• Katharine was seemingly kidnapped as part of some kind of scheme to turn the Ironsides against the Underhands.
• Irene Bakerstreet is alive. That Katharine was framed by Irene for her seeming witchcrafts.
• A rumour that Cobbler Bakerstreet fears and distrusts the Underhands. (Cobbler is present at court today – silent observer).
• Both of the former Laureats (Absolem and Damasque) have gone missing.
• Some time before going missing, Damasque confessed privately to someone to having been in a coven with Irene and Katharine. The Shajaras are also mentioned as being implicated in that confession from Damasque. Shajara family is implicated but no specific Shajara is mentioned. More to Shajara involvement, because the Dargents are trying to manage this rumour in particular. Reminder that this would have been during the reign of the previous Shajara Vizier about whom we no longer speak. Last time Hali was accused of wrongdoing, he was forgiven at his whisper vote (Saif vote). Laureats only became nobles in 1288 and Hali became vizier in 1282.
• Concerns that if Irene Bakerstreet is not in fact dead and trying to frame Katharine, there are concerns that Cobbler is possibly compromised. Cobbler was supposed to have dealt with Irene Bakerstreet so if she’s still at large there’s something up with Cobbler.
• The possibility is floating that as a favour to both Haruspex and Balthazar, Richard Dargent may call a Whisper Vote on Cobbler and Katharine at once with the intent to clear Katharine’s name before any attempt can be made to frame her and Cobbler can be neutralised before being compromised by Irene.
• The Mason Guard Captain Whistlethorp has been enchanted or possessed yesterday or last night and while under someone else’s control took Aloisius’s signet ring and used that to access a Mason prototype that they were working on. Something called the Deconstructor. Took it off the grounds of the Mason Estate and lost it. Currently Babirr Bakerstreet-Mason is investigating this one solo. She doesn’t have many leads yet. It was removed from the estate late enough at night for no-one to notice it.
• Vague nothing concrete, shapechangers being involved in Irene’s framing of Katharine.
• Hugo vs. Guinevera counter rumour: Cobbler Bakerstreet distrusts everyone and who doesn’t fear the Underhands?

Aloysius has a minus to his stealth despite his Dex enhancement.

Can create magic solution that can cause things to temporarily shift from stone to sand and sand to stone.
The Deconstructor operates according to the same principle but magnified and rendered both more wideranging and more versatile. With the deconstructor in the event of an unfortunate error in construction. Where once removing or replacing the error might have taken hours or days of work, the deconstructor might allow us to replace and fix the error in a matter of minutes applied correctly.
The material around the hole would remain untouched rather than being buckled or cracked as with a usual demolishon. The deconstructor removes the section while leaving all surroundings in tact.
Does it work backwards?

Enki Nas'harah Tower

Enki Nas'harah's house is mostly a tower.

• Building below has a tower, and it becomes his gothic tower.
• It’s super obvious that this guy is a Drow because his tower parapet roof and the window sills etc. are lined with the Victorian gothic spikes, upside down pointing downwards in imitation of stalagtites.
• The stone that it’s built out of is all different shades of dark grey and black.
• Can see that there is a spiked wall around the tower and adjoining garden separating it from the street.
• Two entrances, each of which has a little guard post, with an Ettercap in each.

Enki has all kinds of Necromancer stuff:

• Black paper scroll with skull bone handles.
• Gruesome lantern where the metal are connected together finger bones and emerald-tinted glass.
• Weird snuff box carved from bone in the shape of a ghoul’s face.
• He has a wicked looking razor blade that is a thin sheet of sharpened bone and the handle is the bit that’s metal.
• Metal amulet that has a star made of bones overlapping on top of each other.
• A little pouch made of some kind of skin and some sort of sinew for the drawstring. All that’s in the pouch is a bunch of little vertibre that are carved into spikes.
• Big ebony wood black staff that is carved to have a skull at the top and a bone motif. A very spidery writing, etched with the left hand from bottom to top – drow runes.

The book can cast without cost or fear of failure can be used to cast a Necromancy spell. 15 of the pages are etched.
