Part 12: Fall From Grace?! Escape from The Distortion World!

General Summary

While still separated, the whole party experiences the event of Giratina striking Arceus down, traumatizing them to a great extent, with Layla even falling into a coma. Astral's Steel Plate becomes heavy, prompting a worried reaction from them. The Channeler attempts to swiftly parkour to a floating landmass in hopes of reaching the exit portal far above in the sky, with the assistance of their Pokémon. They get stuck on the landmass doing so. Ava, Jasper, and their respective Pokémon all make their way through the cave that ended up connecting to the Distortion World. With Layla now awake, everyone present concocts a plan to use Layla's psychic powers to lift them all to the portal. Giratina appears to prevent its potential buffet to escape its clutches. In an attempt to help, Chapplin uses Vine Whip, making itself wide open to being gobbled, with Layla going after it as the others use the portal to escape. With both of their fates unknown, Astral, Ava, and Jasper end up in Allegro, spending a night in the nearby inn.
