Farángi

Farángi is the westernmost city of Weresoc. It is located at at the eastern shore of the river Sotvoreniye (or "the Creator" as the locals call it). As a bordercity to Gillaea it is strongly influenced by rich smallfolk merchant families, such as the . Although the city is relatively small in comparison, there are a few interesting buildings in Farángi: the guild hall, a house of prayer with shrines of Kadmiel Eleazar, Dhussin Ustedson and Gilead Nicolas and a citadel built on a small river island and a factory for industrial goods.   During The Eleven Year War Farángi became home to many smallfolk who sought refuge from the ongoing war. Even though the city is located on the Gillaean border, it's proximity to the mountain strongholds of Dhussin didn't allow the Empire to occupy the city until late 722 AKC. The city was then occupied by Gillaean forces and with it the imperial inquisition. A good number of its inhabitants were imprisoned by the inquisition for blasphemous behaviour. After the peace treaty with Dhussin, the inquisition forces stayed in Farángi, leading to a de facto occupation of the Weresocian city by Gillaea. This lead to a small skirmish between Gillaean and Weresocian forces in 724 AKC. Through direct diplomatic interference of the Senate and promises of the new Weresoc leadership to quench demonic cultists within the city, Farángi transitioned in late 724 AKC into full control of Weresoc.
