Level ups -
All academy graduates begin at Rank E-5, by defeating enemies, accomplishing new tasks or training you can gain experience. This is where the level up system begins. Experience or XP is determined by taking the total amount of experience for the action and dividing it by all recipients. (Ex: if a 400 XP combat encounter was finished by a 4 man squad each member would get 100 XP) when you reach the XP level for a new rank you can take a trial (EX: chunin exams) or an equivalent to ascend to that new rank.
These ranks are E, D, C, B, A, and S. As these ranks dictate the missions you can receive it's not advised to skip them even if you already have the strength or experience to pass it. There are 5 levels within each Rank, the levels start at 5 and go up to 1 with the lowest Rank being fresh academy graduates and civilians.
At each level you can roll a hit die and chakra die to increase your health and chakra capacity. You also gain 2 points to place in any of the combat styles to further your abilities and gain a number of techniques equal to your proficiency modifier. At every rank upgrade you can choose a feat or stat boost AND your proficiency bonus increases by 1.

Classes and their benefits This section will explain the benefits, usage and abilities granted by training in the different classes. These ranks follow the E, D, C, B, A, S ranking system.
E rank: 0-4 points. This is the lowest rank meaning you have little to no ability performing or defending from these styles with only the most basic knowledge on them.
D rank: 5-9 points. These are genin level abilities that you have learned through experience with them.
C-rank: 10 - 14 points. These are chunin level abilities that come from serious training.
B-rank: 15-19 points. As a Jonin you have become a great asset to your village, though you have more to learn your strength is not to be trifled with.
A-rank: 20-24 points. You have become extraordinarily talented and have exceptional abilities.
S-rank: 25-29 points. You have become one of the strongest among this class and near unstoppable within this field, using power capable of dealing mass damage and destroying villages you have the strength that rival village leaders
SS-Rank: 30-34 points. Stronger than the public leaders and political figures of a village are its strongest, most exceptional shinobi and the cruelest of villains, those who are deemed to be of greater danger than even a kage, leader and rulers of countries.
Y-rank: 35-39 points. Y rank is for those who have reached a mastery level of a skill beyond the normal limits of a person, for those of only the strongest wills, the most talent and those who have truly devoted themselves to strength and training.
Z-rank: 40-44 points. Defenders and destroyers of planets, those of Z rank are beyond mortal levels of strength and power and have the strength to tear worlds apart if they aren't careful. Z-rank fighters are both beloved and feared for their great strengths
ZZ-rank: 45-50 points. A rank for those beyond planet destroying strength, only the most powerful, hardworking, dedicated warriors could ever reach the rank beyond that of any normal master This level is the precipice of strength and those who fight using techniques of this capacity must be careful and aware of their surroundings due to the great strengths they hold

Animal combat This combat style is a support based class that focuses on using animals, pets and beast like attacks to damage foes and keep allies safe.
Fuinjutsu You’ve begun studying seals, this style is very versatile and has a number of abilities but are typically the creation/destruction of barriers, chakra absorption and the sealing/summoning of items/techniques.
Genjutsu The art of illusions and misdirection, this style is about changing reality or making it seem as if you have. This is a very difficult style that can be used by injecting your chakra into another target through various means. Any time multiple targets are selected for a genjutsu you must expend the chakra for each target.
Insect use
This combat style is very diverse but is primarily mid to long range combat using insects to inflict damage and a variety of other effects to your enemies. You can check the insect list or request another type of insect. All jutsu are named after their primary users but can be used by other insects for similar effects.
Jinchurikki: This combat style is one that focuses on using the abilities of great beasts or other creatures that are sealed within or otherwise able to lend their power to the user. Jinchurikki are rare and typically treated as monsters or outsiders as the common people will typically just see the monster within.
Kenjutsu The art of swordsmanship and melee based combat, this combat style is just as much about defense as offense. You will learn how to deliver devastating blows and resilience from taking heavy strikes.
Kinjutsu: The art of using lost or forbidden techniques, this is a very diverse style that typically requires great intellect to use properly.
Magic: The primary class of the mystical arts and sorceries, this style is very diverse and has a wide range of useful abilities.
Medical The art of healing and using the body to your benefit or to harm your opponent. Most of these techniques will require being in close proximity to others and it's recommended that each squad has at least one medical ninja.
Ninjutsu Ninjutsu is the art of controlling your chakra to create changes in the physical world, typically through channeling the elements in various ways for dangerous attacks, or tactical changes in the environment.
Puppet master Puppet mastery is the art of controlling other objects, like puppets, through your chakra. This takes precise chakra control and can be incredibly difficult to overcome. Most puppet masters are long distance fighters or stick to mid range, though close combat puppets do exist and are exceedingly dangerous.
Senjutsu Senjutsu is the art of harnessing nature energy and combining it with your chakra to obtain more powerful techniques and become one with nature. It is a very difficult style to master and primarily involves enhancing your other abilities.
Sexjutsu Sexjutsu is the ability to manipulate targets' thoughts, desires or lust to exploit them, often using sex appeal as a means. Though diversity in this style is quite wide ranged, many techniques are subtle though it seems some tehniques are quite direct.
Space-time ninjutsu: Space time ninjutsu is a subset of ninjutsu techniques that revolve around the manipulation of space and time, or using the physical effects of such abilities. These techniques are very difficult to learn and few have ever mastered it.
Taijutsu Taijutsu is the art of unarmed combat, though there are many different types of unarmed combat they are all classified as taijutsu.
