Geography

The Land of Stars is a large mass of land that as a phenomena, appears to be star shaped. The capital, Tsukigakure, is located in a large crater created from an impacted meteor years ago. This land resides to the North East of Sunagakure, Northwest of Konoha, South of Nadeshiko, and Southeast of Kusagakure.
The crater is located central to the land with its rim providing the village with a natural defense against outside forces and provides the village's primary source of water, a vital resource. Much of the land around the crater was purchased after the founding around the meteor.

Ecosystem

The natural ecosystem of the land of stars is one of great diversity and wonder. The land is surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape full of amazing creatures, such as deer, rabbits, bears, and wolves, plant life, such as cherry blossom trees, redwood trees, and bamboo and even many types of aquatic wildlife, including clams, sea snails, starfish, and sea turtles.
The village is also home to many types of indigenous plant life, and fertile soil which makes it easy for the village to grow crops. These plants provide a natural source of food and nutrients for the village's inhabitants that takes up most of their diets.
Unfortunately the meteor that crashed here has been leaking a type of radiation that scientists have been unable to properly examine that has caused mutations in some of the inhabitants, whether they be people, plant life or animals living in the area. These creatures have been heavily distorted by the radiation, and they often have many strange and unique characteristics that make them very different from their non-radioactive counterparts, such as multiple heads, extra limbs or unusual chakra natures, on occasion it seems that creatures can even gain jinchurikki like abilities making them extremely dangerous to the village's inhabitants.

History

The land of stars is a minor country, the capital of this country is Tsukigakure where the Hoshikage reigns as ruler of the land. Tsukigakure was founded 20 years ago when a meteorite crashed into the land, at first people were weary of the land but slowly more people were brought to the land and it expanded to be a very rich land with a focus on trade. The people, plants and animals found here are incredibly strange, seemingly altered by the energy from the meteorite.
The land itself is one treated with caution by the other ninja villages, all from the village seem capable with various abilities beyond that of the normal, and only within the last 5 years has the village begun being accepted by society, for most of its history those from this land have been held at great length, avoided and held in poor regard.

Tourism

The village's natural landscape is a big attraction, as it is home to many beautiful waterfalls and lush forests. The land's wildlife is also a big attraction, as the village's land is home to many exotic and rare animals such as giant deer, foxes, tigers, and dragons. Another main attraction, however, is the abundance of ancient shinobi artifacts and bits of history otherwise hidden from the world.
