The Samurai Pledges

The Samurai are a very honorable people that uphold many beliefs and pledges, these have many variations but have common factors for all. Many Samurai take additional pledges to uphold personal beliefs.
#1: A samurai must always uphold justice.
#2: It is an honor to die in battle.
#3: Protect those who cannot protect themselves.
