Balcorus †

Balcorus was a friendly bugbear barbarian who briefly joined Doomed 2 Die on their mission to fight The Snow Lord. A powerful warrior and fighter, Balcorus had learnt the art of summoning ancestrial spirits to aid them in battle. Using their long arms and famous glaive, Balcorus was a one-goblin wall against powerful foes, frequently felling giants and other menaces.
Coming from a small tribal community in the Vodenglen, Balcorus's tribe was decimated by the Cauldron Brewer, a giant working for the Snow Lord. Vowing revenge, Balcorus had travelled north to aid the city of Jameleska in fighting the Jotun, when he came across Doomed 2 Die in the Titansgrove. He joined the party on their mission into Eagle Falls, and was key in earning the help of the three spear goblin clan.
Balcorus would die trying to protect the party in Storonthorpe, sacrifing themselves to hold back the Snow Lord to buy time for them to evacuate. Balcorus's actions earned the respect of the noble giant, but the bugbear was slain and returned to his ancestors. His death would be avenged by Doomed 2 Die later that night when the giants were driven out of the town.

Alternate Reality

In the alternate reality created by Primus where Doomed 2 Die never met, Balcorus still became a hero during the war with the Snow Lord. In the battle of Rosethorpe, Balcrus was amongst the last to die, as he shielded Falia Rayes whilst she turned the Crown of Thorns into a bomb, killing the Snow Lord, Eyes of Varpak, herself and Balcrous. His body was found by the alternate form of Gallus.
