Gulf of Nirasa

The Gulf of Nirasa is a large, shallow gulf that forms the coastline of western Barendar. Into it drains the great Sampa River. The gulf is avoided by most ships, since it is filled with vast forests of giant green and purple kelp as well hidden rocky shoals. It is the domain of Green-Purple Splendor. It is also home to many colonies of achamatl which are quick to take the opportunity to prey on any vessels foolish enough to navigate the treacherous waters.
