Vesturhald

Vesturhald is the westernmost of the Thalkunir kingdoms that ring the Gulf of Eltan in southern Heimval. It is allied with the other Thalkunir kingdoms to the east and has good relations with Brynheim in the northwest. Relations with Jonagval bordering it to the west are still tense, since Vesturhald lost influence after Jonag Issenhjart conquered the kingdom of Fridhovsland nearly a century ago. Like all the Thalkunir kingdoms, Vesturhald is hostile to Rotskjoldland since it was absorbed into the Kalmasan Samraj. A significant portion of its economy is supported by piracy, preying on Kalmasan trade.
