John Twotrees
John Twotrees (a.k.a. Smallberries)
John traveled to Peru as part of a small entourage. An upcoming young director wanted to scout remote locations to film a series of adventure/ educational newsreels for the nickel theaters. John lied and told him that he was part -Peruvian in order to get selected (and get paid some more). John figured he’s pretty good on a horse and a decent scout, so he can help look for sites and maybe blend in with the locals. After all, he knows a little Spanish (very little).
What John didn’t plan on was the director coming down with yellow fever in the first day, and being stranded here with hardly any funds until the guy recovers -hopefully -and he is able to travel back. John hears word about this expedition while waiting, and decides to check it out. After all, they could probably use a good horseman/tracker who is part-Peruvian?
