Pietr Quickcoin
Pietr first met the Party after his wagon broke down in the Summerfell Woods, where he escorted them to Greymoor in exchange for their help in repairing the wagon. When given the choice of betraying them to the soldiers from Summerfell who were looking for the Party, Pietr kept their secret.
Pietr has been a friend and advocate for the group ever since, gaining them sanctuary in Greymoor through his friendship with Arthan, in exchange for the Party dealing with local bandits, the Brotherhood of Free Men. Pietr guided the Party to a secret entrance to Fort Greymoor, where the Brotherhood was holed up, revealing that he smuggled goods in and out of the Fort during the Hollow War. While they were dealing with the Brotherhood, Pietr was briefly captured and framed for the murder of Gordo the baker by the Imp-Peckables, but was saved by the Party. After the Siege of Greymoor, Pietr remained at Greymoor, intending to get back to his life.
Pietr ran into the party once again just outside of Riverside, where he had been attempting to make a delivery but discovered a civil war breaking out instead, thanks to the actions of the Party. He took them from there to Mirstone as part of their quest to escort Serena Bearheart and Damon Rainhald to Ishurad's Vault, and then to Holbeck, nearly getting killed by a feral vampire spawn during the journey. After the defeat of the Phoenix Chapter, who had been attempting to turn the people of Holbeck against the innocent vampire spawn of Mirstone, Pietr remained in Holbeck to make sure that the blood supply continued while the Party continued on to Ishurad's Vault, promising to wait for their return.
While the party was absent, Pietr was abducted by newly created vampire spawn acting under Magnus's orders. He was drained of blood and used as a hostage to lure the Party out, but they were able to rescue Pietr and slay his kidnappers, though the other vampires had already absconded with Pietr's trusty wagon. His wounds remained for several days, though Gust Ragedrum used his magic to remove whatever curse had been placed on Pietr before it progressed any further.
While the Party was dealing with Sevryn's Chosen, a group of corrupted dragonborn that served Sevryn the Red Death at Underdrey Manor by Garrikhill, Pietr befriended and won the favor of the locals. Desiring to be able to protect himself in a fight after making a decision to continue following the Party, Pietr was outfitted with some basic leather armor, a dagger and a light crossbow. He then accompanied the Party to Keld, where they dealt with a local chuul problem and then moved on to Riverside once more.
With a new wagon, Pietr smuggled in the Party's weapons and goods to Riverside while they all entered the city in their own ways, eventually meeting at the Bottomless Cauldron. Pietr helped the Party out with general errands during their time in the city, with his main duty being to look after Francis since the corgeagle was unable to wander freely with the Party and was getting restless in the interim.
