Elow/Timer Civil War

With the death of King Orlet IV the fight over the throne began. Prince Jurent, backed by much of the nobility and military might of Elow retreated to his fortress at Sharere and began a campaign to conquer Belde and take the throne left by his late brother. Against him stands the loyalist forces supporting Queen Keyva, who with the aid of the mages of the @Cerulean Tower have fought back Timer's advance.
Both sides have made extensive use of conscripted peasants to form the bulk of their armies, thus the war has periodically ground to a sporadic border conflict often delayed by the needs of the planting cycle. The war shows little sign of ending within the current status quo.
