Acolytes of Shadow
The most publicly known following of Hamamoto throughout Shudan. Members pay deference to the goddess of darkness for sparing them and keeping the true horrors of the darkness at bay. They operate some of the larger places of worship dedicated to Hamamoto, such as the Temple of the Dark Goddess in Ahonato, the Hall of the Dark Shadow in Nionsen and the Temple of the Dark in Sano Aku.
Traditions
Lacing Fingers is a common greeting or sign of respect. Kuro Hon are tomes created to communicate with Hamamoto.Titles
Followers associated with a particular temple are given titles based on their role.- Shisho - Owner of a Kuro Hon, or more generally the leader of a temple.
- Dark Shadow - Follower blessed with divine powers that helps run and protect a temple.
- Dark Watcher - Follower without divine powers that helps run and protect a temple.
- Shadow - Follower blessed with divine power but still in training.
- Watcher - Follower without divine powers training to help run and protect a temple.
