Nionsen
This town just inside the northern hills of Shudan grew around a pair of well known hot springs. Similar to the already established Takusansen, the residents referred to the town as Nionsen (Two Hot Springs in Shudani). Although in time Takusansen was shortened to Tauksen, the name Nionsen stuck as is.
The modern population of the town is around 1,000, making it the second largest in Hiro-On.
Government
Nionsen is part of the Northern Province and Hiro-On, both of which are largely overseen by the Izumi Family. The current Regent is Kikyo Izumi.Military
The Peace Force is the name of the larger police group throughout Hiro-On, and there is a local branch in Nionsen. The chief of this branch, like the chiefs of all branches, is appointed by the Izumi family. They don't report to the Izumis directly, but they are funded by the Izumis and the chief can be replaced if the Peace Force doesn't act in accordance with the Izumi family's wishes.Notable Locations
