Eisuke Okane
Eisuke is a talented cleric of Natsugawa, recently promoted to the rank of Death Keeper at the Hall of Eternity in Nanganato.
Personal History
In S297, Eisuke was born into a large family that lived in a small farmhouse outside of Nanganato. In S300, his mother Ena died in the middle of a violent storm while giving birth to Eisuke's only younger sibling, Emiri. Eisuke grew up working on the farm, like his 6 older siblings before him. The oldest of the siblings stayed and started families themselves, knowing they would one day inherit the farm. Others moved on and found other purposes outside of the farm. When it was Eisuke's time, he too moved on. In his case, he traveled to Nanganato where he continued to develop his powers as a cleric of Natsugawa at the Hall of Eternity. It didn't take long for him to be recognized as an official acolyte and granted the title of Gray Keeper. Is S316, an event known as the Harborquake exposed a series of tunnels beneath the city. In addition to old smuggler's routes, a shrine belonging to the Tunsheian was also found. Following this, and rumors of increased activity involving the cult, Eisuke was sent to investigate what they might be up to. His travels led to him reuniting with his younger sister Emiri and aiding the Order of the Seeking Fox who had found themselves on a similar quest to oppose the Tunsheian. After collecting pieces of a powerful artifact, which turned out to be the Gauntlet of the Arcane Key, they were forced to fight against a faction of the Tunsheian led by Shishido Okane, one of Eisuke's older brothers. Despite their best efforts to end the conflict peacefully, they were eventually forced to kill Shishido and his companions in order to stop a Mind's Eye from destroying Nanganato. For his role in saving the city, and in recognition of his service and powers, Eisuke was awarded the new rank of Death Keeper at the Hall of Eternity.Relationships
