Mitsugu Atsutane

A powerful young wizard who looked like he was going to become the 4th Inferno of Sukorak and possibly the head of the Atsutane Clan before his untimely death in S243.

Personal History

Mitsugu was the only child of Mitsui Atsutane, after his mother died giving birth to him. Only a year after that Mitsugu's father was named Regent of Nanganato, and a year after that Daimyo of the Southern Province. Mitsugu was a naturally talented wizard from a young age, frequently acting out in an effort to gain his busy father's attention.
In S235 his father sent him to Sukorak to study under Silia Lai, where he quickly became her main protege and was seemingly on track to become the next Inferno.
During his travels and duties as a student of Silia Lai, he met and became romantically involved with Sera Izumi, eventually marrying her in S242. One year later Sera gave birth to twins Zannur and Zederic only days before both Mitsugu and Sera were killed while thwarting a plot to overthrow the Northern Province and the Izumi Clan.
