Penelope Penkenshrine
Penelope Penkenshrine is the teenage granddaughter of Oswal Penkenshrine, the inventor of the Flux Drive. While being held hostage by The Alliance, Oswal manged to "launch" Penelope across space to the backwater asteroid colony, Opportunity. There he told her to seek passage into The Ravages, where she would find safety with Grandma Suzuki.
Penelope fended for herself on Opportunity for some time before being tracked down by the Jerryd Gang and being saved by Hermes, Hector, and Afaea. The crew then offered to escort her through The Ravages to Grandma's House. During their battle against Jerryd in the ship graveyard, Penelope - guided by Afaea - took control of the Big Chungus Barrage and fought as a Dextra pilot for the first time.
