Killian's Rest

Killian's Rest is a small village at the western slopes of the Rygan Mountains, in the Kingdom of Morogar. It was founded sometime in the Golden Epoch, and was at one point a prosperous mining town, but centuries of invasions by bandits and monsters have left the mining industry abandoned, and Killian's Rest (along with much of the north-eastern parts of the duchy of Shinferric) neglected. Today, the village consists of just a few farms, and most of the inhabitants are trappers, hunters, or, more recently, prospectors, who are trying to restart the dormant mining industry.
