Fafniran

Fafniran and Warreg’morian are free states, originally controlled by Orcs, Goliaths, Drow, and Kobolds. HIgh Elves and Dwarves forced back most other savage tribes and took control of the region 100s of years ago. Now the 2 free states are governed by Paathrox and High Elf representatives in Hylama and Keryn.

Structure

The High Elf Council in Keryn controls the state, appointed by leaders in the country of Paathrox. Representatives from the large cities of the country join with the Council in order to give their people a voice.

History

The Great War was the biggest event in Fafniran's history. It was during this war that the High Elves and Dwarves of Eastern countries joined together to drive back and take control of the tribal beast races. Any history of the time before the war has been lost, due to the oral tradition of the original tribal culture. There are few written texts specifically about the Orcs, the race lost to the Great War, but most of it is conjecture formed from what the ancient Dwarves and Elves wrote.
