All Summiters are descended from the original ten colonists. The colonists' children quickly formed up into clans that quickly became extremely interbred.

Primary gateway to the stars for its planet; anyone who wants to get a message off-world or learn about the goings on beyond the range of orbital satellite broadcasts comes here. more importantly a textile hub, where the Tenfolk weave fibrous bundles of icesilk into incredibly warm garments and high-performance linings for environment suits, rendering the suits flexible, durable, and oh-so-comfy. There is an effort being made to make luxury environment suits at larger scale for export, but this is not taken off yet.
Infrastructure
Tech level equivalent to height of pre-Exodus technology; capable of servicing and launching near-light speed space craft and building large space habitats.
Points of interest
Generally dilapidated, with external metal everywhere corroded by brief bouts of acid rain. Summit escapes much of the worst of the sulfuric acid storms being above the cloud layer. Only on the edges of the settlement can you begin to escape the din of the 3D printers turning out new metallic parts in the aftermath of a storm. The local synthtobac crop leaves the whole place reeking of especially foul cigarette smoke.

Summit is a planetside settlement built on top of an icy mountain, consisting of sprawling structures built from the components of the repurposed ship.
