First Age
The First Age is the period in the history of Styx which saw the foundation of Lakesore, Norrsidra and Zwistroad by the three elves clans which descended to Aman-ya in the Great Exodus.
During this time the clans were just loosely organized family units with each family lead by a woman, usually a priestess to Serkatha.
Most of these priestesses were prophets of the Great Exodus or their descendents and they guided their clans wisely during these early days.
The First Age is when the Sumraki-Ashaī first encountered the Forestfolk, a diverse culture of various races which inhabited these lands prior to their arrival.
Though relations were originally friendly bloodshed soon broke out and ultimately the Sumraki-Ashaī enforced their rule over Aman-ya and drove the Forestfolk into the Leshivoi Forest marking the beginning of the Second Age.
