Theros

Favored by the newer gods of the Theros pantheon, these lands have a more tamed and rugged landscape than that of the other countries that make up this continent.
Before the Starfall, when the continent was still a single landmass, much of Theros was filled with lush jungles and verdant forests. During the many clashes of these godly forces, large portions of the landscape were upended, and the ground became tainted as vile blood seeped into the very bedrock. Since then, those who govern the country have prioritized the accumulation of power, attempting to prevent the many cults that are trying to bring about a second Starfall.
